Todd Denkin started out in the 80’s as an on air disc jockey, and has worked his way through the entertainment industry as a casting director, producer, director, editor and literally every other position on a set including on-camera and voice-over talent. Todd became a 30-year show business veteran doing TV shows, commercials, infomercials, music videos, films and voice-overs; working at networks, production companies, advertising agencies and even owning his own companies, Fade 2 Black Films and Gorilla Films. Todd made a shift to the Internet in 2000 with a streaming video dot com startup in Las Vegas, NV where he became the head of production, sales and marketing. Todd also became company spokesperson traveling around the country and the world speaking to large audiences and was featured on or hosted all marketing videos. Todd helped take that company public and was instrumental in building it to a $300 million market cap (DXN) on the American Stock Exchange.

Denkin’s career has been defined by foresight––the ability to spot and take advantage of emerging market trends and navigating new companies into lucrative markets. In 2009, Todd first got involved in the cannabis industry by identifying a trend in grow-your-own hydroponic systems and co-founded the self-contained hydroponic leader Phototron Holdings, helping take the company public (PHOT) and serving as its president. At the time it was one of the very first publicly traded cannabis companies and Todd produced all of the training videos with over 200,000 YouTube views.

Since joining Digipath, Inc., in 2014 Todd Denkin has transformed the company from a pure digital pathology solution provider into a leader in the medical and recreational cannabis and hemp testing market. Digipath Labs’ Las Vegas cannabis testing facility is the number-one testing lab in Nevada. Todd has served as the company's President, COO, CEO, Chairman and Founder and spokesperson, doing dozens of audio and video interviews, speaking at national cannabis events and has voiced all of the company videos as well. Todd all ran all operations until October of 2019 when he decided to seek some other cannabis ventures. After a short stint with One World Pharma in 2019 and 2020, Todd was called back to Digipath Labs by the BOD to fix all of the problems that occurred when he was gone and has been running things again since December of 2020. Todd also co-founded The National Marijuana News in 2014, an online source for cannabis news, interviews and education where he continues to serve as it's president and on-air host. Todd has interviewed over a hundred luminaries in the cannabis space from patients to politicians. His radio show and podcast has had hundreds of thousands of listeners and viewers. Todd has been featured in TV news stories, newspapers, magazines, and podcasts and also co-authored the book Money Matters.

Using his experience in the digital media world combined with experience in the cannabis space, Todd also co-founded THE SMUGGLEVERSE which is the first "Digital Dispensary" of the Metaverse where you can currently buy Digital Cannabis in NFT form and will soon release a Web3 game based on smuggling cannabis into the Metaverse.
